Functions
Wim Van den Noortgate is professor of statistics at the faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences and one of the PIs of itec. He is specialized in the statistical modelling of clustered data using multilevel models, with a special focus on learning analytics (with learner’s responses nested within learners) and meta-analyses (with participant data nested within studies). His research focus is primarily statistical and methodological, but he is involved in projects that range from fundamental to applied research. He teaches introductory courses on statistics in the behavioral sciences and an advanced course on meta-analysis in the master of statistics program.
