We are very glad to welcome 3 new colleagues in our team:

• Pieter Vanneste: Pieter will start a PHD on the following subject:  Using multimodal data to predict user’s engagement in online learning. Prof. dr. Wim Van Den Noortgate will be his promotor. Pieter will start on the 24th of August.

• Louise Maddens: Louise will start a PHD on the following subject: The instructional design and evaluation of online learning environments to foster learners’ research competencies. Prof. dr. Jan Elen will be her promotor, Prof dr. Fien Depaepe and dr. Annelies Raes will be her copromotors. Louise will start on the 1st of September.

• Stefanie Vanbecelaere:  Stefanie will start a PHD on the following subject: The effectiveness of adaptive learning of math and language. Prof. dr. Fien Depaepe will be her promotor. Stefanie will start on the 1st of September.
