ABSTRACT

The TECOL project (Technology-Enhanced COllaborative Learning) project aims at the design, implementation and evaluation of recent features of educational technology that devote a more central role to interactive and collaborative learning, in both lectures and practicals. The university will collaborate with the companies Barco, pioneer regarding visualisation and connectivity and Televic Education, specialised in solutions for collaborative learning, online testing and class management.

The first living labs of the TECOL project will be implemented at campus Kulak Kortrijk. ITEC’s Technology-Enhanced Learning team will take care of iterative instructional design of all living labs and will conduct explorative efficiency studies.
